Responsibilities

• Design and build a bespoke OMS that is highly performant and reliable, supporting a wide range of asset classes
• Enhance and simplify the existing trading platform, with a focus on improving overall performance
• Perform comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end system testing, to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal system capacity
• Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and implement effective solutions and improvements

Required Technical Qualification, Skills, and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related technical field is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in trading technology, including OMS development
• Proficiency in C++
• Hands‑on experience with TCP, UDP, and shared memory communications
• Practical knowledge of kernel bypassing techniques, CPU cache optimization, and lock‑free data structures for ultra‑low latency system design
• Skilled in performance tuning for latency‑sensitive applications on Linux, including system‑level optimizations
• Proficiency in using profiling and performance analysis tools to identify bottlenecks and optimize system throughput and latency
• Experience working with FIX protocol and FIX engines
• Familiarity with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Python is a plus
• Product knowledge in equities, derivatives, fixed income, and other asset classes
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to operate independently as well as part of a team
