Responsibilities

• Build and enhance real‑time trading and risk applications, collaborating closely with traders, researchers, and operations teams
• Perform comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end system testing, to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal system capacity
• Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and implement effective solutions and improvements

Required Technical Qualification, Skills, and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related technical field is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building trading strategies
• Deep understanding of trading infrastructure (OMS, EMS, Algo Trading)
• Proven expertise in C# development, with a strong track record of delivering high‑performance, resilient, and distributed systems in production
• Proficiency in multi‑threaded programming and experience in managing large volumes of real‑time market data
• Hands‑on experience with profiling and performance tuning tools to optimize system throughput and minimize latency
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure and tooling, including Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Python for scripting and automation
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure
• Product knowledge in equities, derivatives, fixed income, and other asset classes
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to operate independently as well as part of a team
